Video Clip - 4 MPPP enforcers play samseng in Penang

    24 March 2007 3:02 am

4 MPPP enforcers (from City Council of Penang island) barged into a photo shop in KOMTAR along Penang Rd on 21-03-07 around 2.30pm and make a nuisance of themselves in the short time. They didn’t wear their uniform, didn’t produce any identification papers, didn’t give any notice/warnings, didn’t provide a list of things they took away-which included advertising light box from 3 shops-which was said to be obstructing the walkway. Above all they behave like `samseng’/thugs even though they are categorised as `civil servants’. Alas they came to the wrong place to show their `little Napoleon’ antics -which City Council staffs are notorious for. The photo shop folks have the latest gear to film them in real action ! Watch this 1 min video here.

The enforcers’ action was a real slap in the face of the PM who has been reported to be preparing to make a major announcement on how to improve Malaysia’s notorious public delivery system !

If you think the enforcers were just being overzealous to enforce Council rules think again : there is actually a big drain hole left uncovered right in front of the photo shop where the officers seems totally uninterested to do anything about. Someone must have stolen the metal drain cover long time ago-during which 3 persons had dropped into the hole-according to the shopowner. It was also a really stinky hole too -when I open the temprory timber cover.

I was informed of the incident thru a 3rd party. After I got agreement from the shop owner I organised a press conference for them this morning where 4 media turned up. Look out their report. Later I brought the shop owner, the media and a friend Zul to MPPP counter on 4th floor of KOMTAR to lodge a report against the 4 enforcers. MPPP counter personel did call the oversight officer of the 4 enforcers and was told that the enforcers gave 1 hour notice to the shop owner; wore uniform and bahave themselves. However when the MPPP counter staff came down to see the shop and the video they admit that the oversight officer was not telling the truth.

We look forward to the response from the embattled MPPP President Abu Bakar Hassan -whose mishandling of the peeping tom by MPPP technician issue is rocking his MPPP top seat !

The shop owner had lodged a police report on the following day and took their issue to the airwave as well. As of now the youtube clip has attracted 400+ viewers with almost perfect 5 star rating !The issue will not end soon yet. Watch out in this site : www.penangwatch.net

    WattaHack? 22 March

    22 March 2007 9:30 pm

    MR.MINISTRY OF MIS-INFORMATION…

    (repost article from WattaHack?)

    SELECTIVE REWARD SYSTEM

    (repost article from WattaHack?)

Photo: Our National Badmintion Heros. Koo Kien Keat and Tan Boon Heong should be rewarded now! not if, not what, not later. They deserve it… PERIOD!

“We will consider, think, and decide how to reward the pair. We do not want to spoil them with material rewards, which may result in a drop in future performances,” he said at KL International Airport last night while awaiting the arrival of the duo. - as printed by The Star.

Now… how appropriate timing. No material rewards? How about Datukship? not material only a title. How about having access to train in our new UK playground? Oh! Better still a fully funded scholarship to some prestigious Sports Uni abroad?

Surely that’s not material rewards that can spoil them unlike those that got Land, Cars and Datukships…. so suddenly our noble Gov realise they were actually wrong to reward those so called Towering "Censored" with Material Rewards?

I wonder those High Flyers heading to Freezeland to do skydiving to proof some Delinquents are Towering "Censored" will return with full praise from the Gov and reap some kind of Material Reward?

10 Burmese Arrested on Way to Malaysia

    8:24 pm

Bangladesh police arrested ten Burmese Muslims on 18 March while there were staying at a hotel in Cox’s Bazar on their way to Malaysia via sea, reported a local police source.

The arrestee’s have been identified as Nurl Hossein, Anna Wa, Shik Htinda, Mumad Ahlong, Ahbu Bawsaw, Sawrawa, Yusu Ahmout, Abhu Kalan, Sai Furahman, and Sulartan Ahmad - all from Nga Khura Village under Maungdaw, a border town in Arakan State near the Bangladesh border.

They were arrested during a raid at 11 pm of the hotel Zelarni, located on the main road in Cox’s Bazar, conducted by a Bangladesh police team led by SI Marfuzar.

According to the sources report, the ten had come to Bangladesh in order to travel to Malaysia under an arrangement with a trafficking syndicate, having paid a large sum of money to be taken to Malaysia via sea on a machine boat.

In Arakan State many young people, Buddhist as well as Muslim, have been leaving for neighboring countries to escape the economic crisis and oppression of the Burmese military junta throughout the state.

It has been learned that about 40 percent of Arakanese youth from Arakan State have already left for neighboring countries, including Malaysia and Thailand, during the last five years due to the economic and political crisis in the their homeland. #
